PFF: Bradberry is better than Norman

I personally don't compare Norman to Bradberry. I compare Norman to Worley. In my dream life, we keep the franchise on Norman, draft Bradberry as his future replacement in the same round. And they are both keeping us in games this year as our d-line deteriorates in front of our eyes. That, my friends, would have been what was best for the Panthers this year.

This. People act like we only play one CB.

Once we made the decision to tag him and free agency had essentially played itself out, we should've held onto Norman and let him play the season under the tag. By the time we made the decision to pull the tag, there was no one available at any of our need positions be it CB, DE, or OT.

With that that said, we'd still suck with Norman. This OL is the perfect poo storm.

    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
    • Ppl want to trade Melo? Am I wrong for thinking that would be a bad idea?
    • Some of you act like one can't learn from experience over time. Just because you may not know what you're doing in 2018 doesn't mean that you don't know what you're doing in 2025. Frankly, you grow from experience, and success and excellence gives first-time applicants the hand probably 99.999% of the time.
