If the Patriots cheated to win this Sunday...

Would be the best possible scenario for this sh*t Super Bowl. Pats win big, then it comes out later they were caught cheating and real bad cheating, and the league would have to do something serious for 3rd time offense. Ban Belichick for life and strip of all titles. Scumbag Patriots get what they deserve and no SB win for the Falcons, just a wasted season, which is what it was anyways.

Obviously not going to happen so I'm preparing to live with the Pats having 5 SBs.

So let's suppose for a minute that the Patriots cheat this Sunday (not exactly a stretch) and win big...

What's your reaction?

1) I'm bothered by it because cheating is wrong no matter what

OR

2) I'm laughing my ass off because fug the Falcons

3) All of the above

I can't stand either one of these teams, so the ideal outcome for me would be that the winning team gets busted for blatantly cheating. Considering their past, that team would most likely be the Pats.

I honestly hadn't thought of it this way.

Likelihood of Pats being caught cheating is virtually nonexistent, but assume for a second that they are. And it's something like filming the Falcons practices. How do you think the league would respond? I don't know how in the world they wouldn't strip titles at that point and ban Belichick but with this league you never know.

3.  Don't care and just hope the game is entertaining.

    • Rico is 0%. I think we would really like to have Mays back but we have a value in mind and aren't willing to overspend. I think someone probably will so I think the odds are pretty low but not zero.
    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.

They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
