Should we covert KB to TE?

Looking for the huddle's opinion on this.   With the poor play of our receiving core,  would it make sense to convert Benjamin to TE and bring in additional WR talent? 

Pros:

We need another quality TE

KB struggles with weight,  which wouldn't be able issue. 

Picking up his 5th year option may be cheaper

He was viewed as a TE prospect in the draft. 

 

Cons:

He is not a good blocker

If he can't cut it as a WR why the hell would he make a good TE. 

Might upset him

Greg Olsen aint no Brad Hoover either, and i wouldn't say KB's WR capabilities should be questioned, but moreso how ineffectively we utilize him.

To the question, ive been harping for KB to play TE for a while now

If TE is too complicated for him too, then that is starting to look like a real questionable pick now.

His wonderlick score was 7, second lowest only to Frank Gore. Take that and add in his seemingly inherent laziness and there is no way he is switching positions.

No, he's fine at WR. We just need to pair him with a legit starting WR with speed, not more size. The KB pick wasn't a mistake, but the Funchess pick is looking like one.

TEs need to block, and just because we label him a TE doesnt mean his role would change. He is still the same player regardless what you label him as.

Not really that relevant. AJ Green's was 10, pretty much the same thing and he's arguably the best receiver in the game right now.
