Hunt my 1st choice .. Reminds me of Beast mode.. With the blance after contact inside and outside running open field cuts and versatility in passing and blocking game.... I think he best fits our system and is pro ready day one..

This game shows all the pro ready skillsets

Blitz pick up

Catching out the backfield..

YARDS AFTER 1ST CONTACT..

3 down back can be a bell cow back for you day 1 no doubt..

Again look at the 2nd effort and versatility..

Semaji Perine make 2nd choice

Oh the power in this dude the thick bottom base from butt thighs to calfs .. Tells me this dude is going to punish defenders.. Low center of gravity and bend tells me defenses will have a hard time tracking him behind our oline and get a solid hit on him.. I comp him to a Jamal Lewis or smaller Bettis..

Not a homerun threat.. More of a batteringram that needs a running start.. Not a guy who can expolde from a dead start..

High carry guy most effective when able to punish a defense for 2 qrt. Then in the 3rd and 4th he will have motherfuger making business decision.. Needs to work on blitz pick up..

Again this guy lives off of yards after contact..

Need to see him more in the pass game..

I only saw one game but James Conner from Pitt was a beast.  Dude never went down on the first hit and had a great game.

The game was the upset win over Clemson.

from his Bio

facing No. 2 Clemson and a defense that was yielding less than 16 points per game, Conner ran roughshod through the Tigers for 132 yards on 20 carries (6.6 avg.)...his 20-yard touchdown run, featuring a highlight-reel stiff arm, pulled Pitt within 42-40 with 5:17 left, setting the stage for the 43-42 upset...Conner also had three catches for 57 yards (19.0 avg.) at Clemson, including a 46-yard catch-and-run TD..

Foreman and Perrine are two slow one dimensional backs that we have to get away from.  We need speed in our back field.

Like Kejone Barner??

4.5 and 4.6 really isn't that slow either..

Versatility is more important than speed..

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one

Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
