i am terrified of this. if i am on anyone's bandwagon, its his. i really like a combo of him and McCaffery. would like it even better if we could get McCaffery at pick 40 without trading up.

absolutely will not happen after the combine McCaffrey had. His only negative was the bench and he destroyed everything else. Solomon goes top 5 and McCaffrey doesn't make it past the playoff teams at the end of the first bank on it.

Some VERY nice combos there to contemplate.  I'm not usually a fan of trading up, but this draft, I'd be pretty thrilled if we do trade to get back into the first, even though it means fewer picks overall.

I voted Thomas & McCaffrey, but I'm also a big OJ Howard fan, so some combo that has him in it would be of interest too.

Well McCaffrey is a talent that I would be happy to trade back into the 1st for. As low as possible, but still. He and Howard would instantly make our offense a powerhouse again, Shula or no Shula.

if only you new that our GM does not believe in drafting OT's in the first round so that you would not be disappointed when this happens.

For another year in a row, I am resigned to have Gettlemania run wild on me, brother.

Wasn't Gettleman going to take D.J. Humphries, but he was selected the pick before Carolina?

    • You can characterize it however you want, but at each step you are saying "this is what I saw" and what I am providing is actual data. And at no point have I ever characterized Bryce as some deep throwing savant, merely pointing out that the data does not support the idea that he is incapable of attempting and making those kinds of throws. In fact, if we want to get into the analytical weeds, I have my own quarterback metric that I have developed over the years that has a higher correlation with wins than either passer rating or ANYA or ESPN's QBR, and it places Bryce as the 25th rated QB in all of football. If I was biased in any way I'd try to massage the formula to make him look better but the reality is that his lows have greatly weighed on his overall average even this season and he absolutely needs to continue to improve to give this team a chance at future championships. If you want to dive into the data yourself check out https://qba.info
    • That was definitely true then but I don’t think it is much anymore. Bryce actually had a higher YPA than Dalton last year
    • 1st INT was a bad read and a bad pass. 2nd INT was just a great play by the DB.
