no reason to be all that worried about it, IMO. felt like DG only left open possibility on Fri. cause it was the right thing to say.https://twitter.com/jollroger1969/status/856244008460460037

The thing is, I believe Panther's will only pick at 8th, if one of following 3 guys will be there...

Saloman Thomas, Jamal Adams and Fournette, but I am even not sure about Fournette, DG is so fond about that 5th year option on first rounder, what will be reason to use a 1st on a guy, who could be injured and out of the league in 5 years (RB carry that risk more then any other position in NFL)....

All the other potential guys Panthers are interested, can be found in the bracket of 12-16, which I guess, we will do such a trade with QB needy team...

Gettleman basically suggested that he'd only give up a two or three anyway, if that. He's not giving away the house, people, even if he would do it.

In this draft the talent level is too deep, especially at TE, S, RB, three key areas for us.   There are probably 40 players or more with first round grades (depending on who is doing the grading).  If we select properly we could end up with two players graded out as a first roundesr.

If it only takes a second maybe a third round pick to go from 8 to 6, why wouldn't you do it to guarantee your guy?

Because they are Madden GMs and know what they are doing. They clearly know the value of the picks and players of this draft because of YouTube.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
