Steve Wilks presser yesterday - hope for our Defense?

Love Wilks but Ron Should be stepped in and help Sunday.

This saints game was like every other saints game including when we had Norman.  They always end I'm a shootout.

The short quick passes are the kryptonite to our zone D.  Bree's finds those open holes and gets the ball out of his hands before the line can even get pressure.  Thomas just ran to those holes Sunday and it was like throwing toss.   Brees threw for 75.8% which is bad. We shouldve played a little more man up and had Bradberry on him.  Instead we sat back and watched him do what he does every year.

No adjustments just total Failure on D.

We were 1 shanked FG from them scoring on 7 out of 9 drives.  That's pathetic.

Wilks is a rookie DC but Rivera oversees everything that's going.  And it was the same thing different day.

Right now, I'd rather listen to a Wilks presser than watch our highlights.

Wilks gets it. He's not making excuses. He's not deflecting responsibility. He's saying two things: "my fault" and "it's up to me to fix it".

That is how a head coach acts. Listening to him speak, it provides a very stark contrast to Mr. Rivera. I hope JR is listening too.

Here you go, my bad:

Not sure if the video/audio is there.

If not, go to Roaring Riot Report

https://theriotreport.com/

Look for the "Riot interviews" section (bottom center of the home page).  Wilks audio is there.

There is a reason Shula has always been a loser and not taking responsibility is one of the reasons.

Shula has to go.

Wow, factual as well^^^

Shula is a stage 4 tumor on the brain of this team.  I'm more sure of this than I was that Hurney is a terrible GM.  I've never seen a coach at any level look so inept.

It's comical now.

The Pats are averaging 440 total yards per game, 340 of those yards on passes. They're averaging 33 points per game, 2nd in the league.

Needless to say, the defense is gonna need a hell of a lot better showing than last week to keep this one close.

It will help tremendously if the offense can put together long drives that result in some TDs. If we watch Cam get annihilated again because of piss poor play calling and execution, it's going to be a long afternoon. Best way to keep the Pats from scoring is to keep them off the field. Their offense is too  explosive to give them a ton of opportunities.

The way this season is going we will shut Brady down.  Crazy year.
