as someone else said, 12 men in huddle - 5 yards

1 and 20. Rivera with a  stoic stare across the field at Foxy, who stands there clapping and chewing his gum. Rivera slightly nods and.....

Draw play for loss of 3.

Same as it ever was.......

All linemen in 2 point stance.

Handoff to Stewart after faking jet sweep to Samuel, who was uncovered.

Trai Turner is being driven backwards past him so quickly that the resulting wind drag jolts the ball loose.

Cam, for some unknown reason, does not dive for the ball, but watches in disinterest while Tyler Larsen gets pancaked backwards on top of the ball for a loss of 6.

We lose an additional 15 yards because Matt Kalil is using his one block per game 20 yards down the field and 5 seconds after the whistle.

We lose 5 more yards next play because Turner can't get back to line after being pushed back into the dressing room.

Shula thinks about marking through the play on the play sheet, but decides to evaluate it by running it 5 more times in the next three drives, thereby making sure he does not look like he is second guessing.

Rivera makes a note to punt during the first extra point kick because he thought the breeze from Turner being blown up was a crosswind that could endanger the PAT and doesn't want Gano to be placed into the anti-depression protocol.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
