He did hold on to the ball a little long, but even with that said it's a little ridiculous that even with extra people back there blocking, we still wind up taking a sack.

If someone was open, I’m sure he would’ve thrown it.

Its 3rd and 11... you need 11, that’s going to take some time to develop with the D knowing what’s coming

This is the worst Panthers run game that I've seen since that one time all our running backs were injured except Nick Goings.

There is no excuse whatsoever for this. We've been making excuses for this OL since 2012 when Gross retired.

This is a direct reflection on Ron and Shula.

If you don't have superior talent, you need to scheme....we can't do that.

Where exactly?

It’s 3rd and long wtf do you think the defense is expecting?

This is how we're losing

We're running and losing yards on 1st and 2nd. Defenses pin their ears back on 3rd and long against our big tall receivers. No speed. We might want to put CMC in the slot

    • Backup QB has been an issue of mine for a long time but not just for Bryce and Dalton. We have never really been able to develop QBs or build an offense around strengths. Dalton isn't going to move the needle one way or another. The problem is in our FO and possibly coaching staff (current staff undetermined as of yet). I'm of the belief that you always try to get better. Dalton wasn't good other than one game against an abysmal defense. Churn the roster, including backup QB. If BY isn't the guy we've got to start over anyway. Who knows. We might actually find someone good. Other teams have done it before.
    • Lol. Worst case? I think you mean most likely result. I don't think people are going to be wasting much breath on Dalton or QB2 if Bryce flounders this year. It's going to be people calling for coaches, GM's and owners heads for the mess we got ourselves in with Bryce in the first place. Rightfully so.
    • I mean that's his sole reason for being here. He doesn't win football games. He's here to keep Bryce comfortable.
