This type of stuff happens a lot.  Whether or not I like or dislike a coach, I do not like  what "fans" do publically to malign another person. Besides having no consideration for that person....that coach also has a family who is hurt by all of this. In every case, I am sure the coach...including Shula, is trying his best to do a good job. Even if he, or any coach is not succeeding, the public "stoning" is just not right, IHMO.

Your sympathy is admirable, but misguided. These coaches get paid millions to do a job. It’s not like if he gets fired his family won’t eat. He still gets paid unlike players. What about our families that have pay to watch him get paid to suck.

The Panthers were here long before Shula. The franchise is bigger than any person including any player or coach or even the owner. If any of them are screwing this team, they need to be kicked out. Considering this franchise's knack for sticking with the status quo due to an owner stuck in 1970, fans have every right to be outspoken and protest against the crap they see every Sunday.

sounds like the reaction a lot of "fans" have concerning a certain QB.

He gets paid a bunch of money to deal with it. Even if he is fired he will be ok. What about all the people that actually pay to see the games? Shouldn't they have a voice?

There are people in this world who, at best, make a single digit fraction of what Shula makes, whose planning and decisions directly affect millions of dollars, and not infrequently, life or death, all under the gun while others are using every trick in the book, and then some, to knock them down on the spot, and forevermore, almost all of which is a matter of public record. He's got it easy, knew what he was getting into, and doesn't deserve that kind of sympathy. The wrath of fans is a given for him if he doesn't perform, and there's evidence he hasn't.

    • Beamer might have sealed his fate long term. Everyone has been telling him to fire his OL coach all season and he could have done it during the BYE.  14 penalties. Multiple times pressure got home with 3 men. LSU tried to give him the game multiple times but they were too inept to take it.  Frustrating doesnt even begin to describe what it is to sit through those games. It's like watching Panthers games. So I guess actually yeah people here can understand.
    • A lot of us wanted us Skattabo.  We knew we needed another RB and got Etienne.
    • Listen at 6:15 if you want to know why Dowdle only received a 75 (which is good, by the way). Short answer: because the line has been balling out run blocking.
