Give credit where credit is due- Shula called an excellent game last night

I wouldn't put too much stock into this game. The Dolphins are awful and gave up. They've gotten blown out the last three weeks. Their head coach has been ripping the team for lack of effort and preparation.

But on a positive note, good teams are supposed to blow out the bad teams and that's exactly what they did. It's nice to have a blowout win and have your team shine in prime time. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of positive things to take from the game.

That said, I can't wait to see how the Panthers perform against the Saints and Vikings in a few weeks.

No pass for Shula. Panthers blew out Miami and it looks like now that KB is gone, he has been forced to change his plan. The answer has been on the roster, since Bersin isn't the 4.3 guy we needed.

I don't want a OC that is forced to change his scheme, rather one that sees the flow of the game and makes changes in real time. Sorry, but adapting has never been Shula's strong suit.

CMC wildcat on 2nd and 10 in the red zone should be a fireable offense

well, I mean a great Newton day could have like 400 pass yards, 5 TDs and 1 INT.

The CMCwildcat is Shula's INT on otherwise great day.

Shula will never get any credit here.

People would rather argue that Miami sux, Miami quit, the players overcame his ineptitude, Cam did it all on his own, he was forced to change because we traded kelvin, etc.

Dude could put out a burning house and people would argue that the water and the hose were the real heroes.

This.

At the end of the day I think few realize how big player execution is when it comes to making plays look good or bad. Most fans only see a play one time as its ran in real time. They aren’t seeing everything that goes into the play. Maybe it’s poor blocking or cam misses a read or just really good defense. All of these factors go into a plays success or failure.

Its easy to say shula is a bad play caller. It’s harder to look at things with a more critical eye

under Shula

Regular season -47-26-1

Post season - 3-3

Shula simply can’t be as bad as this board proclaims on record alone.  We have had greater success with Shula on board than any other window in franchise history.  Not giving him all the credit but he isn’t a holding us back IMO.  He fits what the team wants to be.

They had a great plan of attack compared to previous games.  Specifically how they attacked and dealt with Suh and the threats up front.  That was all gameplanning that was then excuted well.

Biggest part was the offense didn't let up and Shula was much better with situational play calling. The Dolphins are absolutely terrible on offense but it wasn't the defense that took over. Cutler was actually protected very well all game.

He did a fine job. He's certainly done that for us more than any other OC ever did.

All the pieces were well placed, all the players gave great effort and we overcame any mistakes made along the way. What more could  you ask for in a game?

The guy knows what he is doing.
