Lol that would single-handedly be one of the dumbest things the NFL could do right now.

They have been doing some pretty stupid stuff. Jones is a marketing genius even if he isn't a great owner and the NFL should listen.

Is he?  How hard is it to keep the Cowboys, the most popular team in the country, relevant and making money?  They were number 1 for as far back as I can remember even before JJ owned them.

I'm not being a d ick, but what marketing campaigns has he had that's been so genius?  Maybe I'm just misinformed when it comes to the cowgirls.

Even the whole “America’s Team” thing came from NFL films in the 70’s, not Jerry Jones.

Hard to root for either Jerry or Roger in this battle of egos. Both are colossally arrogant pricks. But Jerry owns his team and Roger is "just" an employee of the league. Jerry Jones has very deep pockets and there is zero chance anyone is going to push him out of the NFL.

Well, they all have deep pockets, so I am not sure that matters.  I agree he is unlikely to be pushed out, but some form of punishment might happen.

Say what you will about him but this is absurd if it's about him wanting someone other than Goodell.

The league is going downhill just as predicted several years back.

big difference between not wanting....and sabotaging.  Lot of NFL owners disagree.  Lot of NFL owners have a problem with someone going beyond disagreeing and trying to sabotage the majority.

Jerry jones is a good business man and he is good for the NFL.  Look at how the NFL has grown since he's been there.  I grew up a cowboys fan and switched day 1 with the panthers.  I have never been a jerry jones fan, but I realize how important he and the cowboys are to the NFL.  If he was ever removed from the NFL, you would see some bad results.  Crazy fans make the NFL strong.  The last thing you want to do is ruin a fan base.  That's what would happen if jones were removed.

So you think what Jerry says goes and what Jerry says is always right just because he  owns Cowboys. Jerry is acting like he owns the NFL the way he is carrying on.
