You all realize we'll be playing Aaron Rodgers in a few weeks right?

9 wins won't be enough for the NFC wildcard. I think they're shutting it down for the season.

I think it’s going to take 11 to get in this year in the nfc. I believe a good 10-6 team is going to be at home watching, while in the afc an 8-8 or 9-7 record will win the west and a 9-7 record will probably get you in either wild card spots.

He's eligible to return against us but it's yet to be seen whether he'll actually be healthy enough to play then. Seems like he's progressing but no one really has any clue as to whether he'll be ready by our game. That, along with their record AND recent history with Romo against us makes me think they'll lean against playing Rodgers against us.

Either way, we'll handle them whether it's Rodgers, Hundley or Jesus Christ himself at QB. That team is horrible.

I seriously doubt he will be in football shape. Look at Olsen and thats just a foot. He might play but it would be stupid because we will be driving that hip into the ground all game.

People keep expecting the Packers to shut Rodgers down and I just don't see it unless they lose to the Browns in 2 weeks. They have 6 losses right now, a loss next week would give them 7. I can promise you they won't be eliminated mathematically by the time we play them. Rodgers is supposedly feeling pretty good already with an additional 3 weeks before our game. Everyone that's penciling in an automatic W for that game is crazy.

You wanna climb in my pocket?

The tone of this board's playoff prediction threads has everyone penciling in a W for that game, when it's probably going to be the hardest or second hardest game left on the schedule. He was in god mode earlier this season before the injury.

Fortunate the board doesn't play the game.

Lol didnt Tony Romo come back in his first game with the same injury against us and TD planted his ass and reinjured?

If they are out of playoffs hopes hes not going to come back. Even if he did hes going to be rusty. Even if hes not rusty hes going up against the #2 defense.

We just gave up a 307 yard game to Josh McCown and the J.E.T.S.  Do you think it matters who's playing QB for the other team?  Defensively, we'll always do enough to be in the game, if Cam is hot we trash the opponent.  One of our strongest and least discussed defensive advantages is our offensive T.O.P this year.  Our up and down offense just needs to be up and we beat anyone.

They have no hope of winning their division and about the same level of hope for the Wild Card with the current state of the NFC. Unless they peel off 3 straight wins, there is no way he plays. The re-injury of Romo against Carolina should serve as a cautionary tale.

Whether we beat anyone will rely heavily on our defense, and secondary in particular. Moreover,  Cam's thumb doesn't  seem to be doing us any favors, but I think that Cam and the offense can piece enough possessions together to put up 17 to 31 points per game.  Call me crazy,  but I'm not worried about the other guys.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
