These refs screwed us

You didn't see that last drive

Late flag on special teams, one of the latest I've ever seen gave them 5 yards. Then they called holding, another 5 yards. Then they didn't allow us to substitute which led to a TD

GB didn't substitute. If anything, the non false start call on 4th down was the bad call.

We caused a turnover and it was upheld when the announcers said it could go either way.  They had their chance to screw us if they wanted.  The turnover stood.  We won.

Yes both of those calls could've went either way. Kind of shocked we got that TD and even more shocked on the fumble to seal the game. The block in the back call was just pathetic. Who else saw Worley get slammed in the back as Cobb crossed the goal line?

I think they were equally bad for both sides and we won so hard to be too upset.

Refs are the easy ones to blame, but when our coaches continually let teams hang around and witness these exact scenarios play out enough times to make everyone's head spin it's an issue with the head coach.

Plenty of games we have but this one wasn't. It was a complete NFL rig job. They handed Greenbay two TDs.

There were multiple holding calls where there Oline just dragged our Dline down. Not to mention they were holding our WRs on the other side. It was a terrible crew today that almost cost us a game.

There were a lot of blocks in the back Green Bay got away with...I think we were called for 2 or 3. But hey we won. As a Panther's fan of 20 plus years I can count on 2 hands the games we had advantage due to calls. We have to blow teams out or else.

Think about the run to the SB victory the Saints had. They had more victories that season due to officiating than the Panthers have had their entire existence.

We have to overcome that.

Anybody see that punch that was thrown by a GB player on special teams after a GB return?  It went immediately to commercial afterwards but there was no flag, no ejection or anything.  That should've been a 15 yard penalty on the Packers and ejection but since the commercial break was perfectly timed I guess they decided not to hurt their chances.

    • I don't think it was fear of the unknown because he tried to hide the extent of the injuries that made him drop. After the drop, the reports I heard were that teams knew what was wrong with his knee and it was something similar to another athlete from a few years ago (honestly don't remember if it was even a football player).  That it was basically one of those things where he should be fine for a while, there isn't a huge concern of immediate injury risk.   But what he has going on with his knee is something that is degenerative and there's little chance he'll be able to play more than 5 or so years on it before he won't be able to play anymore. So basically it was teams knowing if they draft him, he's probably going to be only a rookie contract player and even if he's great, you might not be able to get use out of him on a second contract.  Which in turn makes the drop make sense, but I'm kinda surprised some contending team didn't take him late in the 1st, hoping he'd put them over the top on a SB run but then not even have to worry about giving him a big contract in 4 years too.
    • Depends if they see the writing on the wall with their roster and contracts and decide to bite the bullet and begin a complete rebuild and roster overhaul.  I have no clue why some franchises (IE us) refuse to do this and keep half assing trying to win 8 games or so.  Do it correctly, take your lumps and build a contender.  We shall see what loomis decides.
    • Each team plays 17 games.  I do not see why they don't just have each team play one international game per year.  Neutral site game, 8 home, 8 away.
