If we lose on Sunday, will you consider this season to be a success?

Negatives of this season (if we lose this weekend):

The positives, in my opinion, out weigh the negatives.  We've had our downs but over the long haul we are good.  Now, does that mean I'm happy with the way the Panthers have played?  The players aren't the problem in my opinion.  The problem is with coaching and making necessary changes to a game plan DURING the game.  I've made it no secret as to my opinions about some of the coaching staff and their game planning.  Tackling sucks, with few exceptions, is the only negative on the defense.  The offense is the biggest disappointment.  There's too many problems to mention.  I hope shula is gone at the end of the season.

If the Saints weren't the saints, we'd be 13-3 with a bye. Take away that stupid fuging Chicago game, like i said at the time, it cost us. Now, we're having to go to New Orleans when we could have finished a game ahead and had a bye. If we get shut out against the Saints in the playoffs, Shula needs to go.

Setting the wheels in motion to get rid of our terrible owner, and his yes-man GM, means this season is a big success.

Amen. This is a reason to be very excited for the future. For fans and for players.

I think it’s hard to judge. 11 wins is a solid mark with our difficult schedule, but we also seemed to underperform at critical times. Losing to a division opponent 3 times in a season would also show that this team is nowhere near contender status, and has serious work to do to catch up with New Orleans before next season.

At this point in Rivera/Cam’s run here, 11+ Wins should be the expectation every season, much like it is for other top tier QBs and coaches who have been together for a substantial period of time. Making the playoffs shouldn’t be good enough for a team this experienced.

Hell no. Take injuries out of the equation, we’re a worse team than we were last year. Shula shula’d, ron ron’d, we lost the best GM we’ve ever had (though I was lukewarm on him), we gained the worst GM we’ve ever had, it just wasn’t a fun year. The future is murky as f right now. The ownership change could very well end up being a very good thing, I expect it to be, but until the dust settles it’s stressful to think about. And until Hurney and Shula are gone, it’s not a successful season. We win the Super Bowl and obviously it is, but unlike other seasons I’ve considered “successful” when we didn’t win the Super Bowl I don’t feel optimistic about next year based on double digit wins and playoffs.

im just happy we got to the playoffs thats all i ask . no way we beat the saints guys be realistic they are going to kick the ever loving poo out of us once again . we have no weapons and their secoundary is stacked . they will double olsen and lattimore will lock down funchess and brees and payton know how to attack us . just be prepared to get blown out .  11 and 5 is a great record as a fan this is all i ask for .  our season was supposed to be over when we lost to the bears and now were in the position to win a superbowl if we are lucky

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
