as a sports fan, have you ever experienced a moment like the Minneapolis Miracle?

Seen my share of both, the OMFG OMFG OMFG We WON: 2018 Rose Bowl, Stafford in overtime to beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ryan beating the Bears in 12 seconds, and....um.....that whole Roddy White thing from the endzone.

The bad ones are really....really....bad though, like I NEED BLEACH AND A FUNNEL:  2018 National Championship(SACK OMG, WE'VE GOT THIS, 40 yard bomb, GIVE ME THE FUGGING BLEACH), 1st and goal twice now by the Falcons: 2012 NFCC against the 9ers, 2018 Eagles. 2012 SEC Championship against Bama and defacto National Championship(like the worst thing that could happen is the WR catch the ball....that's his FUGGING JOB).....and that whole 28-3 fugging debacle pretty much shut me down emotionally when it comes to sports.

Oh and we are also part of a named play down in shytown, Alabama.....the Prayer at Jordan Hare was a mother fugger too.

X clown was greatest thing I have personally experiences as a sports fan. However the Mineanapolis Miracle was probably more miraculous because time was up and they were losing. There was literally no hope and it was the last play. Score and TD or be eliminated. It was a prayer pass that a Saints player wiffed on badly. That was a legit miracle to get to the NFCCG

Yeah...X-Clown.

And my first ever experience with football was the game with the Immaculate Reception.

Watched Dwight Clark's game winning catch in the NFC Championship too.

I remember both those "oldies", but X-Clown is special because I was there. I was sitting on the first row of the upper section behind the end zone and when Smith caught the ball he was running almost directly towards me.  The noise in the dome up to that point was insane, but it went to darn near deathly quite, save for the smattering of Panther fans in attendance, almost instantly. It was great.

Another wild Panthers' finish was in the 1st game if that season when Jake replaced Rodney Peete to start the 2nd half against Jacksonville and threw the game winning TD to Ricky Proehl on 4th down with no time left on the clock. That was damned exciting.

    • Thanks for bringing out the truth!
    • It's very foolish on Rozier's part considering the money he was already making. But something like this isn't going to go away as the biggest sports leagues continue to directly do business with sports betting companies. It's just layers and layers of hypocrisy.
    • Quick Summary Table Position Ideal Round Range Notes Safety (S) 2nd–3rd Best value and depth here Center (C) 3rd–4th Often overlooked; steady starter range Guard (G) 2nd–4th High floor in 2nd–3rd rounds Linebacker (LB) 1st–3rd Scheme-dependent; 2nd–3rd best value   -- I was playing around on Chat GTP today and asked them to find the ideal round to draft the above positions. We're pretty good at guard so I know we aren't too concerned with those spots. I did pay attention to the S, C, and LB data. We picked 2 LB's in those rounds in 2025, but prior to that had we drafted LB on Day 1 or Day 2 since 2020 besides Tevin Wallace? We haven't picked a Safety as high as round 2 since Mike Minter. But what about the 3rd round? I can't think of any. We got Ryan Kalil in Round 2. I'm pretty sure we haven't picked one on Day 2 since. Am I right on this? I'd love to see us use are top 3 picks in 2026 to grab a LB (or 2), a Safety, and may be even a Center. Although, I think Cade Mays has done ok for a 6th rounder and could improve with more playing time and a D-lineman might be a better prospect for team overall.
