i think not having the depth at DE played a role in this. Especially when CJ (who was terrible anyway) was suspended.

Meh, good QB’s more times than not aren’t going to let a pass rush beat them. 

Minnesota only sacked Brees twice and we got to him once in our playoff matchup.

Jax got to Brady 3 times but when it mattered the most Brady was able to sit back and complete a 3rd and 18 pass. Also, Big Ben hung 42 on that Jax D the week before.

I’ve never liked the whole “let’s just hit the QB every play” game plan that so many here think works. These good QB’s and coaches know they need to get the ball out quickly and will. 

As far as Pep and Addison go as a starting 1-2 that is good enough. Rotate in Horton and see what Hall has to offer as well. Sure, maybe we can find another DE for cheap or hope to strike gold in the middle rounds but I’ll be pissed if we spend resources on a DE if it takes away from addressing the WR room and the secondary. 

The Pats signed Gilmore to a big deal and traded their first round pick for Brandin Cooks. Gilmore had the game saving pbu and Cooks had 100 yards receiving.

Alshon and Torrey Smith combined for 3 touchdowns yesterday. Both guys were signed last offseason as well. We need playmakers, no more trenches bs

Jags almost beat the Patriots with a stout pass rush. The difference between us and them is they actually have a legit secondary.

You're preaching to the choir about needing a playmaking WR. But we also need another quality pass rusher. You can focus on more than one area of need at a time dude.

Fact of the matter is we play in a division that just sent 3 teams to the playoffs, and if the Bucs weren't so inept they might have squeaked in to. It isn't all about pressuring the QB, but it helps. Look at what the Eagles did to the Vikings.

We need better balance on D. I'm tired of hearing about hog mollies.

I mean why wouldn't he?  He practices when he wants, and plays game day.  Basically the Brett Favre treatment of older great players.  Rest up and use that energy for game day.

I'm loving this part...Pep saying he wants a ring, and wants to get paid if we get it.  Wish we had more cap room, I could see him calling some free agents and saying "get in here this year, we're going for it".

Well this is supposed to be TDs last year coming up too. I'm just fearing that theres too much change happening for a SB and it sounds more likely to happen in 2019 season . New owner, new DC, new OC, new QB coach, most likely new faces at WR and RB

Years ago I made a thread on this here site asking if Pep could come home. Never thought it would happen when he signed with GB but he did. So glad, and I knew he’d be a 10 sack guy at DE again especially with KK and Star.
