Wharton and Moton

If Moton is being moved to guard, having Travelle Wharton on staff is going to be a big help, no? Has to be some benefit of having a coach who did that very same thing not long ago.

Either way glad he’s on our staff and I think Moton will be great whether he’s a guard or a tackle.

Usually tackles can play guard.

It would be nice if he could slide into Norwell's spot when he leaves. Getting some use out of a second round pick is never a bad thing.

Moton has competition for the guard spot. It won't be handed to him. (Not saying anyone was implying otherwise).

Not entirely convinced Moton will be moved to guard. When Turner was out, I thought for sure he would get reps there, instead we saw Silatolu. I feel like if he was the contingency plan for Norwell leaving, he would have played.

Some ppl don't like the truth. 
Norwell is staying the blame should be on DG for overpaying Matt & not extending Norwell when the value was much lower.

I think Wharton actually will help Moton at tackle.  He is one player that moved from both spots and played them well.  He'll be able guide Moton in the differences in each position, give valuable tips on being a better tackle and guard.

Reading his draft profile it says he played guard a lot in school, and they expect him to play guard in the NFL.
