You guys cheering on Goodnight smh.....you know he’s going to move the team to Raleigh right.    Raleigh is giddy about the Goodnight news....nothing will make that step brother happier than taking our team away.

North Carolina is North Carolina, I don't care which city.

This is not happening btw.

One I would be estatic if the team moved to Raleigh, going from a 4 1/2 hour drive to 2 hour drive for me would be awesome.  Love Charlotte, but I don’t live there anymore.

Secondly team is still in North Carolina so doesn’t matter to me as long as it stays in North Carolina.

Thirdly, the team ain’t going no fuging where. I would love it if they make bed to Raleigh, but that ain’t happening. The team is never leaving Charlotte pure and simple. If you don’t know why the team isn’t moving then you know nothing about market demographics which is what the NFL makes all decisions on.

I'm not saying that an NFL team won't work in the Triangle some day, but why in the hell would Goodnight want to mess with the goose that's laying the golden egg? I mean, not only is Charlotte a bigger market, but it's right there on the border where the redheaded step children of the Carolinas can easily cross the border and partake of the Carolina Panthers.

    • It's definitely a historical issue at QB but to be perfectly blunt, we also don't do a good job of really developing almost any position if you look at the last decade or so. I tend to be on the side of that being far less a development issue than an evaluation deficiency.  I think we are in the situation at QB2/3 recently due to the overall roster being absolutely abhorrent and the QB classes being quite thin. It is harder to justify another Matt Corral(or several) when you can potentially get a real two deep contributor at other positions.  But, it was a lot of hard work to get to the point where are roster is so incredibly bad that luxury picks literally are not in our vocabulary.  This is the reaping what you sow portion of our history.
    • That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make.  They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects.  It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
