Fox is trying to make Thursdays as watchable as Sunday and Monday nights and they're heading in the right direction. But ultimately it's the short week for teams that is the biggest factor and there's no solution for that but to get rid of Thursday games. Matchups may be better but the play on the field will be noticeably worse, not significantly, but still noticeable and not ideal.

Actually, it would be easy to have Thursday night games AFTER a bye. Most division teams get the same bye, so it would be mostly divisional games.

I wonder if videos will actually play on the overhauled websites. I admit that it could be a browser thing, but it's funny how YouTube videos always play, and vids on teams' websites never play. Somehow ESPN's vids play as well (though sometimes unwanted).

I had this problem for years on Windows 7 using chrome. Turned off adblocker (there's not a lot of ads) and installed quicktime and that helped. They were using old code. I've since reformatted and fresh installed Windows 10, using chrome. No problems.

You can turn off autoplay for videos. Google "turn off autoplay videos xxxxx" where xxxxx=the browser you use.
