That goes without saying. Jonathan Stewart is the ultimate professional and i would expect no different from him, unlike his clown ex-teammate DeAngelo. Stewart is without a doubt the best running back this franchise has ever had and infully expect him to be honored when he is retired (not a statue or retired number). DeAngelo on the other hand I hope is  ever allowed back in the stadium without purchasing a ticket.

Stew seems like a guy who holds the door open for ladies, says excuse me,    Picks something up for you if you dropped it and just a genuinely nice guy.  And he plays piano.  Nothing but respect for him.  Wish him the best as a professional and as a person.

Don't forget, he's very well spoken!

He really is a great guy. I remember when he came to Wilmington and was checking out a few bars and one door guy was dumb enough to turn him away because he was wearing a tank top. He came to the bar I work at instead and never said a bad word about the bar that turned him away over nonsense. Instead he was super nice a chill and if not for his tree trunk sized legs you might not even know he was a professional football player. He really is a down to earth dude.

    • Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.
    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
