The best Panther to spend his entire career here

We haven’t had many players spend their entire careers here at all. With free agency and high salaries, i know it’s not common, but it’s ridiculous to look at the lack of star players we’ve had to exclusively play here:

Jordan Gross

Ryan Kalil

Mike Minter

those are the three best. With TD announcing his plans to play another year, it’s possible he won’t retire here.

TD won't play for any other team.

If you use a 5 season qualifier then the only retired players to play exclusively for us their entire career are:

  1. Gross, 11 seasons
  2. Charles Johnson, 11 seasons
  3. Minter 10 seasons
  4. Hoover 10 seasons
  5. Mangum, 10 seasons
  6. Gamble, 9 seasons
  7. Rucker, 9 seasons
  8. Goings, 8 seasons
  9. Morgan, 7 seasons
  10. Biakabutuka, 6 seasons

Active players with at least 5 seasons of service exclusively with us

  1. TD, 12 Seasons
  2. Kalil, 11
  3. Cam, 7
  4. Luke,6
  5. Addison, 6
  6. Short, 5
  7. Horton,5
  • Overall, Kasay (15 seasons)  and Smith(13 seasons) still lead the franchise in total seasons and games played for the franchise.
  • After this season Peppers will join Muhammad(11 seasons) and Stewart (10 seasons) as the only other players to spend 10 years here not listed above

That last statement doesn't agree with the numbers you posted above it

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
