so THIS didn't age well!

Per Joseph Person, Samuel aggravated his ankle injury recently, which is why he's on the NFI list and not the PUP list.

If the Panthers cut Samuel that’d be one of the dumbest moves they could make.

From what I see with Samuel, the move is completely precautionary. Plus, he is on the active list, so I assume he’ll get in better shape soon.

In terms of talent, behind Funchess Samuel’s the second most one . I’d really hate to see the Panthers miss out on him.

Julius Peppers, Bryan Cox and Chris Manhertz will all start training camp on the PUP list after not passing their physicals. Curtis Samuel not fully cleared.
