WR group won't be your typical 1, 2, 3, 4... Funch will probably have the most snaps but other than him the rest will probably rotate relatively evenly and dependent on gameplan and opponent. Will be more like 2015 where Ginn, Philly, Cotch and Funch all had similar roles, rather than a clear cut 1 and 2.

Yeah, I anticipate that as well.  I'm just saying that Samuel will take his workload in terms of snaps played and targets.  I think it's even possible he displaces Funchess eventually ad the projected #1, but I don't know if that will be this season.  Regardless, his contributions make everything DJ does a huge bonus this season (and I still think he is going to be electric as well).

This is what everyone wanted last season. Now that we have it we want to get rid of it

To be clear, that's not me.  I don't want this point about Samuel to be misconstrued...  I've been begging for years for us to load positions of need, especially WR, with talent, and let the cream rise to the top.  And we finally have done that with WR.  And just because Samuel may leap Smith on the depth chart, it doesn't make Smith irrelevant.  I think he still serves his purpose on the roster and can contribute here.  That's why I have been telling all my friends this is the most talented roster we've ever had top to bottom since Cam and Luke have been here, and that's the beauty of being so deep - good players are going to take lesser roles as better players emerge.  But. We absolutely need to maintain the depth throughout.  This is a win-win for us.

I don't Torrey Smith is a waste, especially given what happened last year.

That being said, Samuel looks to have perhaps the highest ceiling of any receiver we have.

And Moton was a beast. I was at the game tonight, and he was stoning everyone lined up against him.

I was watching on TV and I had a better view of him stoning everyone

How much you want to bet? I say he doesn't break 800 this year but gets 12 TDs

We have a lot of weapons on offense, so that's really not a good bet. And, if he did get...let's say...760 yards and double digit TDs, that would probably be good depending upon how the numbers break down. Turner already said that he wants to spread the ball around (and we are a run-first team).

I agree with both statements. Moton looks like the real deal and was impressive against a solid Patriots team.

Samuels made me think he'd be the WR2 by opening day. I don't think it's even a stretch to say that right now.

Third, it's still the preseason. Objects in the mirror may be closer than you imagine.

This is a winning mind state if he's not our main guy it's ok he's extra valuable in many ways. Also it's a long dam season we've seen how fast things can change it's ok to be strong a wr it's like since we've been so weak we're confused about having an abundance of one position. We most likely won't be obtain line help so all the we could use that money elsewhere doesn't seem realistic. The line actually even with Classel in looked solid vs NE first team who handled Philly's oline last week. This situation is a solid win for us but that over the shoulder drop by Smith was unacceptable gotta track that better the ball was placed on outside shoulder for easy scoop and step out but we're good overall as a team should be able to move up and down he field on any one.
