I want actual examples and reasoning for why you all hate Amini so much. Or are you all just piling on the hate train. I've never thought he was as bad as some of you act

*insert Silatolu being manhandled/pancaked/flattened by random Joe DT.gif*

People, People. Think a minute.Rivera is talking to the media about his team and the players. Stuff the team and players read. What else do you expect him to say but positive things. That is why he is a player's coach and usually liked by the players. He doesn't tear down in public. But look at that face and tell me you think he doesn't blast people in private. The guy who determines whether Silatolu plays is first the medical staff, the player, the position coach and the OC. Rivera can have input to whatever he wants but he doesn't have time to micromanage anything. With Norv in there Rivera can focus on the defense and his first year coordinator. Press conferences are predictable and rarely informative.

Yeah, I shouldn’t panic but the fact that it’s so easy to just find awful blocking still makes you wonder why he’s even on the team. If he starts then he’s the worst OL, way worse than even speed bump.

Hey, I'll admit that I have those same fears. But...I also have a great feeling about this year. So I take those fears, and I shove them down, way down into the pit of my soul. My heart says Coach knows that he has to play his best players if he wants to field his best team. But my head says that Coaches, in general, prefer the Devil they know, over the one they don't. But boy, Moton, and Van Rotten looked good.

Plus, I am very hopeful that Norv will have some input on the situation.

I am taking the stance that good things are going to happen. So until something bad actually happens. I am still giddy for the future. But then again. I have been giddy over the future for the last 3 years. So I have that going for me.

You're so much better than everyone else here, why do you continue to waste your time honoring anyone with your presence and esteemed opinions that the unwashed masses are so obviously unworthy of reading?

In pass protection almost every play it looks like it’s his first time ever playing football. He seriously looks like he has no idea what  to do or who to block. And god forbid if the other team runs a stunt.

Amini can’t handle a DT that bull rushes  he just gets run over and considering he’s 300+ That’s pretty pitiful  dude has no balance or leverage    If he just wouldn’t get decleated and laid at cams feet it would be a positive play on his behalf

How he continues to start is amazing. Van Roten looked like the next white buffalo. And RRs gonna bench him. Smdh

Or maybe you should just stop associating with us since you obviously consider us to be so far beneath you.

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
