Obada will be active

With the team getting healthier, as has been stated here, it will be tough to pick the inactives.  Obada will not be among them.

Rivera did say Friday that defensive end Efe Obada, who earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his showing in his NFL debut two weeks ago, would be active against the Giants.

“I’ll tell you that right now – Efe is going to have a jersey,” Rivera said. “We’ve got to make sure it’s not a one-and-done type of thing. We want to see him continually grow and play well. He did a great job earning the opportunity and then he took advantage of the opportunity. We hope he can continue that and be effective for us.”

I hope he and Eli meet early and often.  Go Efe!!!

Not sure now you make inactive the NFC defensive player of the week his last game.

My thought, too. That would have felt like a slight.

Hoping he has another good week. The Giants OL has a few decent guys but as a whole is nothing to write home about.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
