No it’s both or 50/50 bullshit. I just want to see where the majority of our fans stand with the current state of the Panthers and our struggles this season.

I personally feel coaching has been a much bigger issue across the board. Talent wise I would argue we are stronger at almost every position compared to last year. (Norwell and Williams being the major exceptions)

I’m at like 65% coaching and 35% players so I don’t really know how to vote.

I think our DL has been absolute ass so that’s on the players but I think Washington could and should blitz more.

I think our offensive play calling and particularly the personnel decisions could be much better but the execution there has also been lacking.

First, I don't appreciate you asking for my opinion. Then telling me there are limitations. Not cool dude.

Second. And I don't want to take no poo for this but...I think it is a bit of both. With a sprinkle of WTH thrown in.

We were 3-1, then a WTH game happens. A perfect "Peanut Punch", Cam under throws Funch, Smith's fumble/completed pass, and Moore trying to do too much. That is 4 WTHs that went against us. Who knows what happens if we get 2 of those. But alas, no such luck.

Some Coaching moves, player mistakes, and lady luck kinda peeing in our Corn Flakes have lead us to this point.

Short story long; 35% Coaching. 55% Players. 10% Lady Luck.

how can you give a poll with two options then tell us its a third option?

I think I made it pretty clear. Like someone posted before, if you think it is 65% coaching and 35% players, than your answer would be coaching as 65 > 35. It is pretty simple.

There is no right or wrong answer. Just trying to gauge where the majority stands.

They are all professionals--it is the players' jobs to be ready, and it is the coaches' jobs to get them ready and manage the game.

The coach must ultimately assume the responsibility, even if we spot the opposition 10 points off 2  unforeseeable turnovers and lose by 6.

The presser disappointed me because RR started making excuses--turnover at coordinators, weather (need a dome for practice), bad luck, etc.  Even if all are true, you don't do that.  Take the blame and move on--you are getting it anyway.

The answer might not fit your narrative.

You also forgot to offer up that the opposing team is doing everything it can to win the game as well.

We were in both losses until the very last moments of those games. The same could be said for the wins, as well.

The team isn't working flawlessly and there have been coaching issues and player issues. There have also been moments where luck just hasn't gone our way. And then there have been moments where the opposing teams are just playing lights out.

It happens in real life.

Good teams bear down, work harder and don't give up. Good fans keep cheering. This season is far from over.

    • I only wonder about the West Coast team playing on tne East Coast at 1pm factor and historically that has been worth a lot to the home teams. And maybe playing down to the competition that happens sometimes. And the crazy up down up down pattern we have been in this season.  I don’t bet on these things though.
    • I think the racist stuff is barking up the wrong tree with Tepper. He is all woke and stuff. Not that liberal white people can’t be racists they are in their way pretty racist.  Or can be,  I for sure agree about the yes man aspect and particularly apply that to Wilks.  I didn’t understand the Rhule hiring at all. Did not want. But down the line with Wilks, zi personally wanted him, and personally did not see the racism being a factor in the Reich hiring as much as the fixation with offensive minded play callers and copying that trendy model.  I am having a hard time calling to mind any Black coaches who were out there with the big offensive rep. At one time Byron Leftwich was a hot name who I liked. Don’t remember what happened there but he faded. Bienemy but I never believed in him much, personally.  I think Tepper basically excluded defensive guys and went for the top rated play caller OC types. And couldn’t get Ben Johnson and ended up settling with Reich.  Who ended up NOT being a yes man at all.
    • Someone like Steve Smith wouldn't have last half a season under Tepper.
