Great read on Panthers website. This quote stood out to me, showing he really cares about winning

“It’s amazing how emotionally you can get involved with each and every game. The highs and lows,” Tepper said. “The (Graham) Gano kick was crazy to beat the Giants. Last week (at Washington) we had a chance to win at the end and came up short. That’s really tough and you feel that.”

Would be great to get his thoughts on Ron’s time management, the snaps our playmakers are getting and if he thinks we can win the division

You'd expect him to speak on that publicly in the middle of the season or you just mean one on one off the record type of convo?

I doubt he's made any decisions on that yet.  He's a billionaire and didn't get there by making rush judgments.

I don't want to hear his thoughts . . . I want him to keep his checkbook out and let coaches coach and gm's be gm's.

By the way, Every. Single. Owner. wants to win.

Tepper seems like a true football fan.

He'd fit in with the gameday thread, that's how that poo goes.  Some people I wonder why they even watch when all they ever say is stupid poo like "chill out". Bitch we at a game, ain't no fugin chill.

    • Yeah it really shouldn't have taken until week 11 and for the saints game to be so awful for him to have a really good game. I guess it's possible that Dave was calling plays for him to not fug up weeks 3-10 after how bad the turnovers were in weeks 1-2 then after the saints game the coaches realized we cannot consistently win that way. I think the shitty numbers are on both Dave and Bryce. Dave seems to be like Ron where he has to learn the same lesson several times before he implements change but at least he does eventually learn. I do hope going forward we game plan for an opponent more vs saying this is what we do. The niners pass rush has been non existent so maybe another big day for Bryce on Monday but that kind of game plan will get him absolutely murdered against the rams. You have to play into your opponents weakness vs trying to will the game based on your strengths. That's what good coaches do imo
    • If Bryce shows up and actually does something worthy of the #1 pick then my opinion on him might change. But if he craps the bed, walks into 4th quarter with less than a 100yards total. Then I’m done with him. This is his moment and he better not F it up. Because if so? I’m done. No matter what he does later on.
    • We kept saying "Don't say it!" Then Mike brought it up.
