This may be the worst defensive play call I have ever seen.

I guess he was watching Mangini plays-- Mangini used to call crazy like that,.. but he had corners and called them against lesser teams in who cares moments,..except a few against Belicheck-- and everyone saw how that worked out,..

Probably about like Ben sitting there in shock-- wow,.. this is better than 7 on 7,.... oh look Antonio Brown all by himself,..because 8 in coverage against Antonio is even right?

Wrong--

Anyway,... Washington--

5 words we want to hear from you,..

I will never do that again,..

I like how the 8 guys were just kinda bouncing around in the middle of the field, while Adams was getting burned by AB.  One of the dumbest things I have ever seen called in football.....right up their with the Colts "Fake Punt" a few years ago

Oh man that was just a miscommunication, if you haven't heard Pat McAfee explain how that went down on his podcast you definitely should, it's hilarious.

But any how, that play was definitely the dumbest play I've ever seen. Ben literally standing there, no bouncing, feet planted like he was posing for a photo op.

Wa ait before or after this when Pep dropped back and made that diving pass defense? I Iemember seeing it and asking myself how is it possible we have 38 year old Julius Peppers dropping back into coverage?  If he wasn't a freak if nature that play ends much differently.

So, our head coach is supposedly a defensive expert

his passive acceptance of this stupidity indicates he approved of it as he called no timeout to stop it

by anyone’s measure, last night was a nationally televised fiasco......

.....owned by, directed by Ron Rivera.  His players. His coaches and one would like to hope for his millions he at least reviews his coordinators game plans and provides guidance on in game adjustments...

Queue the Rivera Defense Squad to explain to us why the awful coaches that he hires and/or promotes and the players nonchalance and lack of urgency aren't his fault.

He's awesome, guyz!  Swearz to goodness!  He's being betrayed by everything he's responsible for!

that was the dumbest play i've ever seen, get his ass out of there, week in and out we don't have a gameplan worth a damn on defense, best gameplan we've had is versus dallas where we put 8-9 in the box and make dak beat us. i mean good god we can't stop the run some games and getting shredded as usually in the secondary, not using players correctly on defense, just a overall cluster fug, just over this same song and dance year in and out
