Would you be satisfied and consider the season a success if the Panthers made the playoffs and were one and done?

That's my expectation but it will still be disappointing knowing that the window seems to be closing.

No its not. Honestly the future is looking bright. Samuel, CMC, and Moore are ballers. I believe Cam still has a lot of good years left in him, same with Luke but not as many as Cam. We also have a stud cb in D Jax.

We're going to need to find a successor to Greh Olsen soon.

Ian Thomas might be that guy but he hasn't proven it yet.

You gotta make the playoffs to win the super bowl.

Being as such... I root for the playoffs FIRST.  Just get into the dance anyway possible.  The success of the season hinges on such.

Once the playoffs begin, the expectations change and its all about that Lombardi.  Falling short of that is a failure.

A bucket is not gonna run like a Ferrari overnight. We just don't have the personnel on defense to stop anyone. Pep is old, LB play has been bad. Bradberry is good, but he has his moments. for me, D-Jack is the only person with a pulse on our D this year. Unless the defense somehow catches fire, we are a wildcard team at best. There is a chance we may beat someone in the first round depending on who we play. But that's about it in my opinion

Of course making it to playoffs and losing right away would suck. Certainly not a success. Unless you think that having sex for 10 minutes and getting stopped at first base is successful.

Sex is like the playoffs. The first time you are just glad to be included. Each successive time you gain experience and raise your expectations the further you go. Eventually the only thing that satisfies is going all the way.
