You can spin it any way you want, but we won more frequently and more consistently with Gettleman in charge than Hurney.  That's just reality. 

You wanna argue Hurney was better?  No problem.  All you have to do is convince me that there's something more important in pro football than winning games.

I really have no idea what Tepper will do. I mean drafting Moore, Jackson, and Thomas was huge. If Rivera would have played them more we might actually have won more games. If you pair Hurney with a coach who is really good with personnel you have a winning combo. If not then you get Rivera /Hurney 3.0

Hurney picked Dwayne Jarrett, Jimmy Clausen, Everette Brown, Armani Edwards...etc.  That sucks.

You've made my point. Since he himself has shown its very possible to "screw that up", you can't just discount the good pick of Moore.

Hurney supporters are blind. His seat is molden. I guess he couldn't predict that Poe would be garbage and that Torrey and cj would do nothing at that the secondary would be this bad even though it was clearly apparent. Hurney has made more good choices in this stint than he has made bad choices.  That's "net positive".  For every Dontari Poe, we've got a Jarius Wright.

Unfortunately for him, he's going to lose his job.  Tepper has no choice after this epic implosion.

Marty's seat should be rather normal, maybe a bit warm. Made the Benji trade (which turned out to be the right move) & drafted DJ Moore, Jackson & Ian Thomas. His only downside is signing FAs (which has been ok so far) & managing CAP salaries.
