coach or gm first?

There seems to be a lot of discussion about who would a possible new coach but isn't their a good chance a new GM would happen first?

What is the chance Tepper would keep Hurney but let go of Rivera?  Seems like if one goes they both would and then the new GM would be instrumental in hiring the next coach.

If that did happen who would be some candidates that people would like to see as GM?

I keep thinking of an old tweet by Louis Riddick:

I still have my doubts on how much RR and DG were on the same page.  Seems like the best organizations benefit when everyone has the same vision.

I think Ron’s job depends on how we play these last three games. If we can win at home against the Aints or at least give them a game and beat the Cons I’m thinking Ron is safe for another year. I think Hurney is gone no matter what.

As far as who should be hired first, thinking a GM.

Unless Tepper is going to hire the HC, you cant let Hurney hire him if he is heading out the door as well.  I actually think Hurney will be safe, he really hasnt done anything to lose his job.  Hell, even Ron might be safe seeing there is not much better out there and the team owes him 15 million.

    • -Rico is our early season MVP. Stud. -Bryce Young - best game as a pro. See the other threads, very happy with how he played. The first McMillan TD was a good example of what type of rhythm and feel we should see. -Cade Mays had an absolute mother of a game. Absolutely bullied the Cowboys interior. I am getting convinced he’s a potential answer at center. Want to keep seeing it. -Icky & Lewis road grading on the left was top tier today. They’re getting it done the past two weeks. -BC in our stretch zone looks. We finally started diversifying the run game. Looked like we had Brady moving quickly to the perimeter on stretches and tosses. He swung out and killed some Dallas secondary. -Trevin Wallace got himself in position and helped close a few Dallas possessions. Doesn’t go unnoticed. -Mitchell Evans - loving what I’m seeing -Jimmy Horn Jr making noise. He looks NFL quick, not just college quick. -Coaching staff - they’ve have questionable moments this season but this was a really nice, complete game they called. I probably missed some, feel free to chime in
    • I agree but also the teams we lost to are 10-6 combined. So I think we are middle of the pack a little lower. But atleast we are .500 percent. I think the difference is that we are stopping the run and running the ball and not turning it over all the time. So I believe there is some optimism due to Ricos play and that allows us to throw the ball. Big ups to the Oline though. They have done great.
