Matt Kalil?

Look....I know he is horrible, but what ever happened to the guy? Chris Clark has been terrible along side his partner to the right, and it has been getting worse each week. Any chance they bring Matt back from IR? Crazy to think a weird last minute cleanup would put him out all year. The last I remember hearing about him was more than three weeks saying he was working on the sideline during practice. He has been a disappointment and huge waste of precious cap space for sure.

Clark is bad, but if you think Matt is an improvement or even comparable to Clark I’m sorry but you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Clark doesn’t help his team; Kalil hurts it.

It's crazy (and sad) how many terrible left tackles Newton has played with since Gross...

Remmers (LMAO)

Bell (LMAO)

Clark (LOL esp since the Steelers game)

Kalil (LOL)

Michael Oher is the best one he's had and he was average on his best day.

Byron Bell is the third-best LT Cam has ever had. Wow

Don't beat me up on this, but I have questioned whether Matt would be better than Clark IN OUR CURRENT SYSTEM, under Shula we had long developing plays that forced a subpar tackle like Matt to protect for longer periods of time, this year is a shorter passing attack which means he wouldn't have to block as long and maybe he'd be better, idk.

Then again he didnt look too great before he was hurt.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
