TMZ reports Falcons DE Takk McKinley was detained by Los Angeles police on Tuesday following an incident at a hotel and is "undergoing a mental evaluation."

Wasn't McKinley the one who got a little "overexuberant" at the Draft?

Yes that was weird at the draft but I liked the kid until the Falcons took him. Hope he can deal with whatever issues he has and go succeed for some AFC team

Lets not get it twisted... he voluntarily left the hotel with police and agreed it was in his best interest to seek help for his mental well-being. A friend was worried about him and called the police in a panic.

I know Takk personally and he has one of the biggest hearts and personalities I’ve ever encountered in my life. He is a crazy success story to be where he is after the obstacles he has overcome in life. He absolutely has a temper from my experience with him, but I have nothing but fond memories of Takk. Prior to being drafted by Atlanta, Takk was a huge Panther fan and we would watch Panther games together each Sunday.

I wish him him the best and hope he gets the help he needs to get right.

From the TMZ report:

http://m.tmz.com/#!2019/01/15/atlanta-falcons-takkarist-mckinley-detained-police/

"McKinley was with a friend at a high-end hotel around noon when something happened and the friend became concerned about McKinley's well-being. We're told the friend called police for help.

We're told cops spoke with McKinley who agreed it was in his best interest to get help -- and he cooperated and left with police. We're told McKinley was NOT arrested or booked for any crime."

Titling the thread 'Falcons Player in Trouble' is a bit low.   Guy is obviously having some issues, lets hope he gets the help he needs.

I was amazed that so many people could diagnose him based on one article.  It is a blessing to have so many cyber psychotherapists on my computer machine.  I have been analyzed a few times myself, but never got a bill.  They are just doing humankind a service.  I  thank them.
