You can only designate two players as early post-6/1 cuts. I certainly hope we plan on making Matt Kalil one of them.

It’s no shock that our secondary has been awful since we brought him two years ago.  He was an easy target on just about every play.

That game against Seattle he looked like he had never played football before... It was infuriating to watch but then just sad to think we didn't have anyone else to put out there after Jackson went down other than Elder, who was somehow even more of an abomination...

A move that would have been done last year had the cap ramifications not been higher...

All-in-all, though, Captain still had a good career, especially as a 7th rounder.  He was a steal early on, and he played very well his first go round here.

I called this back in December. It might be a post-June 1st designation.

I think they save about $1m for a post June 1 designation.  Not sure  if that is worth it, but we will see.
