Great year for edge rushers. Burns is intriguing...the only knock was his size, but he took a lot of the air out of that concern today.

Don't think we could go wrong if we go DE at 16. Still like Sweat and hoping somehow one of the big guys slated to go top-10 (Allen/Oliver) drops to us, but don't think Hurney can f*ck this up.

That'd be awesome because give me Ferrell or Sweat all day everyday. I'm not necessarily opposed to Burns and/or Polite, but yeah, I'd much prefer Ferrell or Sweat. Those are my top two potentially realistic hopefuls and I haven't quite decided who I prefer over the other. Wilkins is my #3.

I’ve got the same “realistic” top 3. But Wilkins is on top of mine. Just can’t pass on him. And love everything about all three. I would probably be happy with any of them as high as 5th overall.

Burns looks like a helluva pass rusher. Not another Everette Brown in my opinion. I just can’t see him with his hand in the dirt. Even with all this weight he’s trying to pack on. I’m just having a problem with all this 3-4 talk. I like it but I t’s hard to find players that can fit both schemes.

We’re kind of in limbo because Rivera is trying to save his ass and whatever players we draft the next coach is going to have to bring a DC that can adapt to our players.

Btw, I feel like we have a realistic chance at Ferrell. I wouldn’t count him out.

Before we compare him with Brown let's remember this kid is 4 inches taller (6'5 to 6'1) with way longer arms and way bigger hands..

This is not the same player physically..

Agreed... Just because players come from the same school and play the same position doesnt make them the same player.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
