BREAKING: Panthers reveal 2019 rookie minicamp roster

Recommended Posts

CHARLOTTE – The Panthers’ seven draft picks will take to the practice field for the first time Friday for the start of rookie minicamp, and they’ll have company.

The two-day camp will also feature Carolina’s four undrafted rookies, 10 players already on the roster and 12 invited tryouts (see table below). That adds up to 33 players, including 11 rookies.

No idea who any of those guys are and no idea why they keep focusing on TEs. My guess is one is signed form this group and one from outside.

Per PFF breakdown of the Memphis Express

CHANNING STRIBLING, CB

Another defensive back from Michigan, Stribling put forth an elite overall grade in his final season in Ann Arbor in 2016 when he allowed just 30.2% of the passes thrown his way to be caught. He put forth, what was at the time, a PFF record for lowest passer rating when targeted of just 22.7. For comparison’s sake, if a quarterback just spikes the ball every play, he gets a 39.6 passer rating. Stribling has the coverage ability and instincts of an elite cover corner, he just needs the time and reps to show it.

    • We’ll see. But this first game was eerily similar to last year and we were thinking the same thing. That the team was just adjusting and the next game will be different and it wasn’t.
    • To be clear, 7-OH is a specific chemical produced in kratom that people have learned to extract. The leaf itself is fine and mildly addictive but when you get straight to the source, and begin to use extracts, you can spiral quickly. That’s honestly the case for most drugs.    the serotonin impacts are what makes kratom hard to kick though because the brain fog lasts for a long, long time following and the cravings never truly seem to go away.    I would say it’s better than being addicted to alcohol or other opioids though. Stay away from anything marketed to mimic street drugs, powder or leaf, and you might be okay. But if you have an addictive personality it’s best to stay away all together.
