Cam doesn’t have any weapons so Panthers won’t win division

Just watched a video on NFL.com , some freaking idiot said with a straight face that Cam doesn’t have any weapons and the offense will struggle. Mentioned DJ Moore like he was a nobody, didn’t even talk about Samuel or CMC.

This team has the most weapons it’s ever had yet people act like we’re signing guys off the couch...

I hope we f’ing dominate teams this year

Some cam fanboy / auburn fans will never be happy. NFL isn’t college. Cam doesn’t have weapons, coaches, oline, etc. Excuses after excuses. With all that any wb can be good. Looking at Russell Wilson and Andrew luck who have both had worse olines but better success...a great qb elevates those around them, not the other way around. Good example is 2015 Cam. We need him back.

Outside of McCaffrey we don't have any household names on offense. We had Olsen in the past but injuries and age have limited him the past couple of years. We know we have 2 young guys who have potential to be very good in Moore and Samuel. But looking at it as a fan in general other teams don't know much about Moore and Samuel so they don't respect them yet as major weapons.

Love it. The years when we're being completely overlooked are usually the years when we perform our best. I get it. Moore had a decent rookie year, but didn't come on until late. Samuel shows a lot of potential, but has struggled staying on the field. Olsen is an aging vet coming off of two injury prone seasons.

We don't have a lot of provide NFL production at the receiver positions, but we have a lot of young talent with potential.

Samuel has yet to play a full season and DJ was a rookie with limited playing time last year. We don't have any WRs that have proved themselves to be superstars yet, so its only natural most fans and talking heads that haven't watched every detail of our games would think we don't have much outside of CMC who had a decent rookie year and a good 2nd year.

Once Samuel or Moore gets a 1000 + or 10TD + season then people will stop saying that stuff.

A developing Ian Thomas is gonna be nice for the offense. He’s a physical specimen

Rivera is gonna keep him on the bench as long as Olsen is healthy cause apparently Manhertz is one of the best TEs in NFL history.

If they genuinely paid attention, the only thing they could question are rb2 and maybe Moores ball security. We’ve got more wr potential than most teams and I don’t think most of these talking heads appreciate what guys like Wright or Hogan do(unless he was accompanied by Tom Brady.)

Rivera doesn't have any say on the offense anymore.. So try not to trip over this narrative...

Except Norv will be running the offense and making personnel calls. Rivera is doing the defense

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
