Indeed, and even if 88 stays healthy throughout this upcoming season, it's only a matter of time before he's #1 on the depth chart moving forward.

Really? How so? If Olsen is healthy, you don't take him off the field for Thomas.

Kid looks like a natural, am expecting him to be #1 when Olsen goes down with another injury this year. 

Oh yeah, he’s a much better blocker

I assume he meant future seasons, not necessarily this season.   Basically Thomas might be a long term replacement for Olsen.

^ ^ Yep, he's being groomed behind Olsen, just like Shaq had been behind TD for the past several seasons.

I certainly hope Olsen doesn't get injured in his last season as a pro.

But, I agree with you. Thomas is a much better blocker and is more athletic after the catch. Though he made more than his share of rookie mistakes last season.

Olsen does have that vet savvy and great hands. Love #88 but not worried about the position once he moves on.

this is really great news.  As a 4th round pick (a great value though) I never sold myself on him becoming Greg's replacement, just a good solid #2.  If Ian turns out to be a quality starter at TE, that's a huge bonus in my book.

1. Stay healthy, especially Cam

2. And the OL can just hold up for a few seconds

Guy did a great job all things considered last year just needs to finish some plays with the catch

If anything midway through the season we can work on 2 TE sets and be lethal and add him in to the rotation letting Greg get some rest for a push. Be like the Shockey and Olsen days
