2017 Draft......A+ for CMC

Recommended Posts

Couldn’t have asked for the dominoes to fall any better that first round.

As a bonus the Saints got whamboozled out of drafting Patrick Mahomes just after us. Lattimore is nice but a cornerback isn’t a once in a generation franchise game changer like Mahomes would have been.

That would have seriously BLOWN!  I don't mind KC getting a good quarterback but can you imagine if the Saints nabbed Mahomes......kill me now.

Leonard Fournette : C+  Not saying he is going to turn into being a terrible draft pick but I am glad it ended up being McCaffery for us.  For how we use him, we defiantly got the better guy between the two.

LF has been somewhat of a headcase, but I will say it's hard to run the ball when you have 8 stacking the box because your alcoholic QB throws like an old woman.

That would have sucked so fuging bad. Imagine Brees to Mahomes. That’s like Favre to Rodgers but even better.

Fournette is a good player but he’s had the chips stacked against him. Hard taking that kind of punishment especially when every defense knows you’re gonna run the poo out of the ball because your QB sucks. Wonder if Foles will bring his philly magic to the Jags. If he does you could see that offense really open up and they could be back in the playoffs this year.

I was hard for LF like I was for Gurley before him, Derrick Henry before him so forth and so on...

Really glad we got Christian.  He's the real deal.

Thats why my opinions are free and not valuable to a NFL front office.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
