I think not playing for two games showed. If injuries came preseason game 1 or week 1 it really doesn't matter. What does matter is gelling as a team before week one and that's not happening.

Source says that, after x-rays, Panthers QB Cam Newton was diagnosed with a sprain in his left foot. Team will know more tomorrow.
