Predictions: What week do the Panthers win their first game?

Week 3

Arizona is bad

If we lose back to back games to 2 of the bottom 5-6 teams in the league.  The alarms will ge going off

Arizona has one of the worst defenses and possibly The worst run defense in the league.  Their OL is terrible.

I think we actually beat the Cards in a desperation mode game.

I disagree, mainly because although they are likely the more talented squad, I don’t think the Panthers are the more motivated squad. Kyler Murray has thrown for 300+ yards in his first two starts and I think he will do enough to beat a fading Panthers team that looks emotionally defeated from top to bottom.

They are not bad. They hung tough with Baltimore with a rookie QB and rookie head coach. Carolina isn’t anywhere near Baltimore’s league this season and Arizona played them tough.

Im hoping we lose every game from here on out and get either #1 or #2 pick in the draft.

There is no way in hell we are going to the playoffs or even if we get into the playoffs by some miracle get close to superbowl contenders.

i want Ron and all his coaches gone. I want Tepper to liquidate this front office and start from scratch with a high draft pick.

why in the hell would someone root for our team to do good or even get some wins, when we all know ( and some don't want to admit it) we are nothing but a mediocre team with Ron and possibly Cam (if he doesn't fix his throws).

my two cents

    • No, you're right. It doesn't mean you can't call out his flaws and poor play. But it also doesn't mean you can't admit when he plays well and shows improvement. Not you personally, just in general I mean.
    • I will say, I do think there's a version of Bryce that could be really successful as a high-volume passer in a spread-based offense built around quick throws and timing-based intermediate throws with deeper throws schemed up around them. I actually think the power run based offense we're running is a poor fit for Bryce as it requires him to play under center far more often. It's a very traditional offensive approach whereas I think a scheme that spreads defenses out and lets Bryce distribute the ball quickly with anticipation and accuracy is the sweet spot for him. The key, of course, is to find a way to run the ball efficiently out of those formations. Our personnel right now (backs and OL) aren't good fits for that style of offense and I'm not sure it's a scheme Dave Canales favors very much either.
    • I root for him, and I hope for the best, as does essentially everyone. But that doesn’t mean you can’t call out flaws and bad plays. And that’s what a lot of people get wrong.  I hope I’m wrong and that he continues to improve a lot, I just doubt it. But I’ve been wrong before
