This logic would only work if we didn't get completely annihilated in all three phases.  If it was a closer game, I would give them the benefit, but I don't think Rivera is good at adjusting to opponents.  John Fox, for all his faults, was still much better at figuring out a  game plan, particularly on defense. 

 

And BTW, this team won't even sniff the playoffs.
