Cam to see foot specialist

Cam needs to go ahead and take the year off and get healthy. Whether that means surgery or not. It’s two fold for me.

1. Cam needs time to get 100% physically and mentally healthy after dealing with injuries the past 3 seasons and

2. rivera needs to prove he can win without Cam. This team has talent to win without a franchise if coaching is adequate.

I wanna see rivera work for his job. I’m gonna guess it’s all gonna collapse because I don’t think Rivera can do it. Which means new staff for 2020. Get a coach and GM in here that can take care of Cam and bring out his strengths to the fullest or be able to assess life after Cam. I don’t believe in Marty or Rivera.

Cam's not the future. 2016/2017 killed him. The clock started ticking when Wade figured out refs wouldn't protect him.

Yeah, the Panthers, in the NFL's eyes are supposed to be the Washington Generals, the sacrifice. The NFL wanted to dictate by any means necessary that the Panthers not have the advantage of having an unstoppable(within the rules) force at QB.

They knew what they were doing but Cam had to pay with his body and mind so they could crown their favorites.

Just IR him, like you should have done 6 weeks ago for fug sakes.

Said it above: I don't think it would have changed anything about the last several weeks other than the fact that we could have signed a player at some position (which probably wouldn't have been quarterback).

That said, you may be right about it being the best thing to do now, but but it's hard to imagine the team's not going to do everything possible to avoid that.

(not did they actually can if it's really that bad)

I think Marty has actually done pretty well in his return overall.

Rivera can get the fug out and never come back.

I don’t trust him to find another franchise qb if Cam is done here. Or to recognize whether Cam deserves a new contract after 2020 or not. If Marty gives Cam a new contract and Cam is done it will put this franchise back for years. We need a new fresh set of eyes to evaluate non emotionally.

Well, he's found 1.75 Franchise QBs.

And Hurney has said all the right things about learning from his past mistakes, and his second biggest one was the Delhomme extension after 2008.

The first of course being the James Anderson contract WHAT IN THE fug THAT STILL PISSES ME OFF

Either way, doesn't excuse the fact he shouldn't have even been on the field week 1, let alone week 2.

Someone screwed up somewhere.

he shouldn't of been on the field when he broke his back and lots of other times.  Cam opted to play through injuries like the majority of the NFL does.  Think Cam had a come to Jesus moment this year as the team's overall success was becoming a joke.

not faulting him if he did.
