Cam to see foot specialist

I would imagine, at least I would hope, this particular owner would be placing enough emphasis on unemotional data to make an unemotional decision about his head coach at the end of the season.

To suggest that Ron has a built-in excuse and will get a “pass” would also suggest that you’re dealing with an owner too gullible to distinguish the difference between systemic issues and just shitty luck.

There are a lot of dynamics at play. And there still a half-season of football left. Again, I would certainly hope this regime would not hand out any free passes.

According to Rodrigue this would be his THIRD opinion. He was working with team doctors and his own staff of physicians in Atlanta

Newton’s visit to Anderson, a source told The Athletic, means that Newton is seeking a third opinion on his foot. He is working with the Panthers’ medical staff and his own team of physicians in Atlanta, but has become frustrated with the fickle nature of the injury and anxious about how slow it has taken to heal.

This whole thing isn't making any sense to me.  So someone leaked that Cam was good and ready to play.  He's been on the sidelines, working out, traveling with the team...Then Marty has a "long talk" with him so he is going to go see a specialist now?  What happened?

Get well soon young man!

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
