Just reading between the lines, some of these players seem like they are thinking about catching a movie after practice and getting nachos and a coke.

Maybe popcorn, definitely not skittles.

idk man, i totally got a skittles vibe.  maybe you're just seeing what you want to.

Relieved is probably more the word you were looking for.  Relieved from the circus it had become with the never ending questions and comparing Cam and Kyle.  Now everyone knows Cam won’t be back this season and all can move forward to try and have the best possible season.  I still think this is a 9-7 team and I don’t think Cam would have changed that much, maybe 10-6.

Saying they "didn't sound too heartbroken" is a stretch.

Keep in mind you're talking to players that are still in the middle of a season and still have games to play. They're always going to have the "next man up" mentality at this time of year.

If you want to hear a guys getting all sentimental, wait till the offseason.

no they don't

They are professional football players. They get paid millions to push other huge men around, or tackle huge men, or catch a ball and try to avoid huge men.

Those comments are not that deep.

are there any nfl player podcasts?  would be cool to get real nfl talk here and there and not just the talking heads.

Given how badly some of them screw up on Twitter, I'd say the NFL probably thinks that's a bad idea.

(and they might be right)

Yeah I was thinking that.  Antonio Brown and Colin Kapernick step right up.

NFL would probably take their pension haha

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
