Chase Young suspension

I post this for a couple of reasons:

(1) Chase Young is projected to go in the top-5 of the draft next year

(2) If he were to drop out of college now, what would prevent him from becoming a Free Agent? I know there is a rule somewhere, but can someone quote me line and verse (yes, I googled)?

for #2 - idk i think he would have to go into the supplemental draft but someone with more book knowledge than me can weigh in on that

I'd say we need to know what that "rules violation" was before anything else. That could mean a lot of things.

I don't really care about the NCAA and their BS. I would be more interested in seeing how his attitude stands and situation specific details.

Well if that's the case, he was just a year too early.

If it's not something criminal, I don't expect teams are gonna worry too much about it.

As I understand, he would have been draft eligible this coming April anyway, so basically nothing changes except that he probably won't finish out the year.

Unfortunately, the other thing that doesn't change is that we probably won't get him :(

Unless we trade into the top 3 or so, we aint getting him.

God forbid anyone other than the NCAA, the shoe companies and colleges should make any money off the student-athlete's achievements.

Has zero effect on his draft stock.

He can not be a free agent. He still has to wait until the draft in April.
