Cam Newton now considering surgery

well now i was wrong about being wrong about him trying to go without surgery.     the only reports we heard that dr andrews didn't recommend surgery were from the panthers.   even if he had advised surgery he couldn't come out and refute those reports due to hippa.   and cam has never been told his issues would heal without surgery cookie.  that's pure bs.  he's the one that's avoided it like the plague, opting for magic instead of science

For all the reports we hear, from "insiders" and team people and even Cam himself, you and I really don't know what is happening. And it's really not our business to know more than they tell.

We don't know how bad the pain is; we don't know the actual advice given by doctors, trainers, coaches and friends/agents; we don't know how the off-field rehab and conditioning is going; we don't even know the back-channel discussions going on between GMs is going.

So much we don't know. I do know, however, we've got games coming up that do still matter so cheer the Panthers on and say a lil prayer or two for Cam along the way.

Dude, quit raining all over the uninformed speculation party.

I guess Cam is tired of being told that his injuries can heal without needing surgery only to have to turn around and get surgery at the last minute. Just a terrible situation.

Good point. Every one is different and bodies react a different. I’ve known people who went the whole ‘holistic’ approach and be just fine. Others it linger and only ends up in surgery. People need to realize even the best doctors get it wrong and can only give their best advice based on what they know but it’s literally impossible to know how every single person’s body is going to react to it.

It seems to me that he always delays surgery. That he waits way too long.

I would think you would want it as quickly as possible so you can get back as quickly as possible.

Or, you could maybe try to avoid surgery for a condition that might not require it and then later get really frustrated by the lack of recovery.
