Eric Reid spoke to Tepper about Kaepernick last week

I’m not overreacting. I’m just trying to examine the whole scope of it. When he says veteran quarterback, who knows what the hell that means? I’m guessing CK doesn’t view himself as Steve DeBerg at this point.

I’ve been very fair about Eric Reid. I’ve evaluated his game based on his tape, and I have NOT included any sort of political analysis. I’m just asking questions about how this might be perceived by other players? Could be a big nothing burger. But he’s trending on Twitter, so it certainly got the eyeballs.

I get it, Reid loves his boy Kaepernick. That's cool and all, but damn... even if you want to have a conversation sometimes it's okay for that conversation to remain behind closed doors

It's not about endorsements or lack thereof. Some of you are very gratuitous with negativity pertaining to Reid, and it should have stopped a long time ago. As a matter of fact, it shouldn't have started in the first place. 

I respect the ones keeping criticism of him as it relates to his increasingly shitty tackling, but those that make it about something else, you really need to check yourselves. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

"I'll hold him to that". Exactly what are you going to do Reid? Big words for such a bad player who wiffs on tackles and is bad in coverage. He shouldn't be on the team next season as we should look at upgrading our safeties.

Nothing wrong with evaluating him but honestly it seems with Reid he cares more about that cause than winning football games. Being I'm a fan of a team and not a cause I really don't care for that. I want winners not political soldiers.
