Have we failed him by changing his WRs coach every year?

That’s gotta be it, everyone knows wide receivers only learn to catch the ball once they have a consistent NFL receiver coach.

It’s not the WR coach causing the ball to go through his hands and bounce off his chest.

WRs can’t be taught to catch the ball better, the drops are 100% on him. The lack of progression in route running may very well be on the coaching. The inability to get him the ball deep when he’s wide open is on the QB. There’s a lot of factors in his very disappointing play.

He's came in as a very raw WR, but he's not developing. At this point, he's just not a full-time WR. I think it's becoming pretty clear that he's going to be a career speed/gimmick guy.

He's useful in a limited role and most of us got excited by training camp performance which is totally fair

Offseason priority should be finding another WR who's at least as good as DJ to round out that position. Curtis would be better in the number 3 spot

He was great last year and much more productive. The coaching staff is asking too much of him. That's on them.

He’s a gadget player with limited catching ability. Not a starter. Need to replace the WR2 this offseason
